Product Features:

This is a reactive polyurethane hot melt adhesive (PUR) that is solid at room temperature and melts upon heating before use. It is a single-component, solvent-free structural hot melt adhesive that achieves high initial bonding strength through physical solidification and subsequently crosslinks with moisture in the substrate or air to form an elastomer.

After curing, PUR provides enhanced bonding strength and exhibits excellent moisture resistance, heat resistance, and chemical resistance. It combines the environmentally friendly and fast bonding properties of hot melt adhesives, the high strength of reactive adhesives, and the elasticity and temperature resistance of polyurethane adhesives. PUR demonstrates high reactivity and offers excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substrates.

Pre-treatment:

1. Preheat the adhesive to 120–130°C for 20–30 minutes.

2. Ensure bonding surfaces are clean, dry, and free of oil or contaminants.

3. Recommended dispensing conditions: 130°C, air pressure 2–6 bar, needle size 19–23 gauge. Higher temperature and pressure can increase dispensing speed. Before dispensing, purge the nozzle for 25 px.

4. The adhesive exhibits some pressure-sensitive properties, allowing for relatively longer assembly time.

Cleaning:

1. After dispensing, allow the adhesive to cool to room temperature and remove any excess material from the edges.

2. Use a blade to remove any uncured residue.

3. Common solvents such as toluene or acetone may be used to clean the dispensing area. Residues should be removed before curing.

Precautions:

1. Do not repeatedly heat the adhesive. Use opened material within 48 hours. Total heating time should not exceed 48 hours.

2. Do not exceed a maximum temperature of 140°C during use.

3. Avoid burns during handling.

4. Read instructions carefully to ensure correct usage.

Storage & Shelf Life:

1. Store the product in vacuum-sealed aluminum foil bags in a dry environment at 15–25°C.

2. Shelf life for unopened products: 6 months.
